Built for the engine bay environment
An engine bay is one of the harshest places you can put electronics. It bakes, it vibrates, it sits under UV all summer, and a running engine throws electrical noise at everything in it.
Every Boosted board is designed for exactly that. Components are selected with automotive specifications in mind, meeting AEC-Q100 and AEC-Q200 standards where possible, and each assembly is sealed in a USA-made potting compound that keeps heat, moisture and vibration out.
That is the difference between lighting that survives one summer and lighting that lives on the car.
Battery monitoring and temperature sensor
Battery voltage monitoring. A built-in sensor tracks battery voltage in real time through the web app. At 12.2V the system shows a warning effect; at 12.0V it shuts itself down to conserve power. The lights stay powered when the car is off, without putting your battery at risk.
Engine bay temperature sensor. First of its kind, with real-time readings every 15 seconds. Track heat levels for performance, or simply confirm safe operating conditions.
Temperature-reactive lighting. Select the temperature effect and the lighting responds to heat as you drive — blue when cold, shifting through the spectrum, red once the engine reaches operating temperature. For the most accurate readings, turn the LEDs off so the board's own heat does not interfere.
Installation
Plug and play. No cutting, no splicing, no adhesive, no bulky controllers. The custom wiring harness and enclosure replace the messy tape and boxes that make most lighting look aftermarket.
Everything needed for installation is included, and the kit can be installed permanently or temporarily for shows.
